Facelifting the brand

WAC Lighting wanted to brand themselves as an architectural lighting company. High tech, ecologically and socially conscious, and reliable for their products and for the brand. Many features and aspects of an architectural luminaires required marketing materials to educate their customers through diagrams, lifestyle photographs, and engaging graphics that made the product appear performative.

These progressive images show how a lifestyle image was created. I took the photograph at a site that could have our new step lights, and waited for the sunset so the final image could display the product's light distribution. The actual products were still in development in China so they were rendered in using Keyshot, and the light distributions were added after examining a competitor's product mounted in a similar context.
